Prayer Rug

A prayer rug, also known as a Sajjada, is a rectangular piece of cloth used for prayer by Muslims. It's commonly made of cotton or wool and has ornamental Islamic motifs on it. These carpets, known as Sajjadahs, fulfill several functions. They help to focus the mind and keep the ground clean during prayer.
Prayer carpets are available in a variety of sizes and colors. They are typically 2 feet by 3 feet in size, although they can be as little as a handkerchief or as huge as a bedspread. The hue of the rug frequently corresponds to the qibla or the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca.
